Announcing the April 2014 Retreat - 7th to 11th April 2014
We are thrilled that Michelle Yeo has agreed to be our Tutor in April 2014. Michelle was here with us in October 2012 teaching both her Giant Dahlia and Bethlehem Star.
Michelle will be designing a special quilt taking inspiration from the William Morris stained glass window of the St Barnabas Chapel here on Norfolk Island along with the Mother of Pearl carvings in each of the chapel pews. We will have photos and details of the techniques Michelle will be teaching as soon as possible.

April 2013 Retreat - What a great week!
We are all recovering from another great week with Gloria Loughman. What a fantastic teacher! We all learnt some great techniques and were inspired again by the colours of Gloria's work.
Putting the techniques Gloria taught us to good use!
As part of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee celebrations, Norfolk Island presented an album of photos from her previous visit in 1974 along with a Watercolour Painting as a gift from the people of Norfolk Island. Kay decorated the album using techniques taught by Gloria at last May's Retreat. Below is a copy of the letter from Buckingham Palace along with a letter of appreciation from the Chief Minister of Norfolk Island.
Who'd have thought some of our work would make it all the way to the Palace!!
